The Hall of Fame

The Twelfth Man Award:

This is the single most prestigious award of the Knights Cricket Club. This honor is bestowed upon a member who personifies the principles and foundations of our organization. This person conistently puts the team before himself/herself and contributes in a way that defines why we play team sports. We are proud to be associated with these gems, and we salute their selflessness that shaped our little club.

Special Recognition:

The following people have helped out (and still do) in making our league and our club a resounding success. Their dedcation to the sport of cricket knows no limits.

      • Saket Pradhan: Single handedly created the Cricket League of Iowa. His perseverance and commitment brought 7 teams together in 2004 and the sapling that was planted back then has grown into an oak.

      • Mayuresh Mahatme:  Has been one of the cogs in the wheel of our club.

      • Aziz Mohammed: The Statesman, who kept egos in check and nurtured talent.  Retired as the winningest captain of the Knights

      • Sukhen Chatterjee: Held the club together in times of serious strife and cultivated the winning culture of the old. Second only to Aziz on the wins list as captain of the Knights (2012, 2013, 2014 League Championships). Hall of Fame bound once he retires.
